My Baby Girl is 2

I can't believe that Mackenzie turned 2. Her birthday was on Saturday and she had a absolute blast. We had her birthday party on her birthday. It was great to see all of our family and spend the day with everyone. She got so many fun things and beautiful clothes...can't tell the girl is spoiled. It is hard to believe that she is 2. She has grown and changed so much in 2 years. Last year she had just started walking, was only saying a word or two, still was not sleeping all night consistently, and didn't protest about much of anything. Now she is a walking, running, jumping ball of energy. She is talking in short sentences and is always telling us what she wants and even more so what she does not want. She sleep 12 hours a night if she doesn't have to go to day care, though I think she is in the process of giving up her nap...sigh! She has a HUGE opinion about most things, the girl would wear jeans to bed if we would let her and would wear her purple shirt with a horse on it every single day. She drinks from a big girl cup and asks for specific snacks. She is a lot of fun and really keeps us on our toes. At her 2 y/o ped. appointment she was 37" tall and weighted 31 1/2 lbs. Not sure where she is getting her height but she is one tall little lady. She was an angle at her appointment. She did not cry one bit and did everything the doctor asked her to do...now why can't she do that for us at home! It has been a wonderful and fun two years, yea there have been challenging times...but the good times completely over shadow those rip your hair out moments. I never thought I would enjoy being a mom so much. This is the best job I have ever had!
