Christmas at Grandma's house. We spend Christmas at my mom's this year and Mackenzie had a blast. She got lots of goodies from grandma and Santa...what a lucky girl...Santa found her in 2 different places! It was a lot of fun...I will write more about it in another post.

"Flopper" the famous flying turkey :)
Teeky the reindeer

The closest thing to a family photo we got!
Mackenzie must have been good this year :) She had a blast...maybe a bit too much!!! She loved her new play kitchen and once she opened it she wanted nothing to do with the rest of her gifts. Oh well. By the end of the day if we tried to hand her a gift she ran away shrieking NO!!!! She had a major Christmas melt down last night...I think it is time to get our schedule back on track. She went to bed screaming bloody murder for her grandma, hold on to the phone for dear life....we would have called but she was screaming and completely inconsolable at that point. She needed a good nights sleep!

I give up...
I give up...I think I will be sick forever!!!! Today I gave up and stayed in bed until 10:00, layed on the couch, and pretty much did nothing. In fact my husband and daughter are enjoying an early Christmas dinner with his grandmother and aunt while I sit at home. Oh what a fun Christmas season this has been. I really am going to loose my mind if this virus doesn't go away. I know we have heard that this bug lasts about 3-3 1/2 weeks....I don't I can do this for another week...I will really loose my mind. Sigh. Hopefully taking it easy today will make me feel better tomorrow. BLAH!!!
**Edit** I found one good thing to a two week long illness----> A 9lb weight loss :) Hey I need to find the silver lining somewhere!!!

Damn it..
I am so sick and tired of feeling like crap. This can not be normal to have a cold off and on since September. I made the mistake of thinking I might actually be feeling better....yea that lasted a whole 12 hours at the max. I feel like crap again...sore throat, stuffy head, higher than normal temp(though not a fever, at least yet), upset stomach, and just generally feeling awful. I'm not sleeping...cause I'm afraid of getting sick, which is dumb because I am sick and need sleep. How in the world am I supposed to get everything done that needs done when all I want to do is lay on the couch and whine. Sigh. I would go to the doc, but what is he really going to do....I'm sure it's just a virus. Everyone is sick around her...I'm sure working in the hospital doesn't help. I swear if I wash my hands one more time the skin will fall off. I just want to be better. I don't think I have ever had an illness linger like this. Maybe we have mold in the house, maybe i have leukemia or lymphoma...got to love working in oncology :), who knows but I'm done with it...it can go away and infect another family now. Sigh...I'm going to try and get some sleep. Maybe tomorrow I will be better....HAHA fat chance.

Just a few more pictures to share. I finally am done decorating for Christmas...well at least for the moment :)

Mackenzie's First Cooking Experience
She put the sprinkles on the cookies
The cookies look cute but are awfully dry...oh well.
Showing off her sprinkle covered hands
Hard at work
Happy girl
More sprinkles :)
All done with the sprinkles
Baking with a toddler in the house is a interesting experience. She wanted to help and pitched a HUGE fit until I let her add the sprinkles. I am surprised at how good she did....I just handed her the sprinkles and she went to town covering each cookie with sprinkles...and she did not try and eat the cookies until after they were done cooking :)
